How To Register To Vote

Make your voice heard! To register to vote in California, you must be a U.S. citizen, a California resident, and at least 18 years old by Election Day.

You can register online at registertovote.ca.gov or complete a paper voter registration application available at your local post office, public library, or county elections office.

When registering online, have your California driver’s license or identification card and the last four digits of your Social Security number available, if applicable.

Already registered? Take a moment to make sure your name, address, and political party preference are up to date before Election Day.
